Vincent Fernandel

Born into a family of artists, Vincent Fernandel trained as an actor, scriptwriter, director and more broadly in many art and image professions. He began his media career as a television presenter and journalist specialised in cinema, producing over 400 reports on what we call in France "the seventh art". For over ten years, he devoted himself to theatre as a drama teacher. As an author, he also wrote two plays with actress Élisa Ollier, "Anna attend l'amour" and "Mona", and co-wrote "Au coeur de la fougère", a book about New Zealand and the All Blacks, with sports journalist Ian Borthwick. Since 2020, Vincent Fernandel has made storytelling his heartfelt core activity, recording several books and CDs for the younger generations and also audio-books for the general public. On stage, he performs the musical reading "Marcel Pagnol variations d'amour" in a duet with pianist Franck Ciup, directed by Nicolas Pagnol. Vincent Fernandel is also very active as a music producer and publisher bringing attention and light to his family heritage but also to vintage recordings and more recent artists.
