Amirhossein Jafari, known as Amir Jafari is a director, editor and writer from Iran. He became famous for making short films adapted from comic books. He has been working since 2018. apart from filmmaking, he has a history of writing and criticizing movies, and at least more than 80 articles have been published by him. His fan films are all made with superhero and comic book themes. In his early work, he used not only photos but also video to create film frames, but a few years later he changed his style and continued his activities in stop-motion frame-by-frame. The color of the posters of his films was considered 9:16, almost the same size as the covers of Golden Age comics. He is only Iranian director whose works have been adapted into a video game.

Before entering high school, he has been working on making fan films... His first fame and success came from Lucky Luke: End of Legend (2022).
He is a staunch fan of pop art and gothic styles.
Among Iranian filmmakers, he greatly admires Abbas Kiarostami.
He produced his first fan film in 2018 and his first documentary in 2022.
He was supposed to criticize Frank Miller in a documentary for writing the story 300. However, the documentary was canceled and he expressed his criticism in The Spirit: Criminals Among Us (2026) by replacing his character with a negative one.
