Lakaaysha van Ewijk is a filmmaker, editor and visual artist based in the Netherlands. Her work moves between fiction, documentary and hybrid forms, often exploring memory, identity, and structural tension. She combines research, intuition and rhythm to build visual narratives that are both personal and formally experimental.
She has participated in international labs, residencies and festivals across Europe. Alongside filmmaking, she also works with motion design, photography and storytelling formats that blur the boundaries between mediums.
She is part of KAAYARDO, a creative duo focused on multimedia film and narrative experimentation.
