Dolores Gómez Iwachiw

Driven by a fascination with the unconventional, he began his journey in sound while studying Audiovisual Arts at the National University of La Plata (UNLP) in 2017. Early on, he took charge of sound mixing in student films, eventually leading to his first full sound design experience in Barrenderas, a short film developed through the LaBAF program at Festival REC.
That experience sparked a deeper interest, which grew during his work on the feature documentary Con la Fuerza del Río, where he realized his passion for storytelling through sound. In 2019, he pursued formal training in Sound Design at ENERC, learning from prominent professionals like Rubén Piputto and Guido Beremblum.
Since then, he has worked professionally as a boom operator, sound recordist, sound designer, and foley editor on a wide range of projects-from films and documentaries to streaming series, reality shows, and TV.
He thrives on the creative and technical challenges each project brings and strongly believes in the power of sound to shape narrative through collective work and artistic precision.
