Biography

Harold Lang was born on August 28, 1950 in Saskatchewan, Canada. He was an actor, known for Black Samurai (1976), Mid South Wrestling (1981) and WWF Prime Time Wrestling (1985). He died on January 4, 2007 in Portland, Oregon, USA.

Midget professional wrestler in the 1970s, both in single, and tag-team matches. His gimmick was to perform in cowboy dress and boots.

Cowboy Lang wrestled as late as 1998, but lately had fallen on hard times. He was living in a homeless shelter in Portland, Oregon at the time of his death.

On 25 April 1980, Cowboy Lang defeated The Tokyo Kid (Shegeri Akabane) to hold the World Midgets' Championship of the National Wrestling Alliance; in a rematch, Lang was defeated by the Kid (who reclaimed the title) in December of 1981.
