Evgenia Shishkova was born on 18 December 1972 in Leningrad, Russian SFSR, USSR [now St. Petersburg, Russia]. She was married to Vadim Naumov. She died on 29 January 2025 in Washington, District of Columbia, USA.
Shishkova and her husband Naumov, won the world championship in pairs skating in 1994. They also competed in the Olympics twice, in 1992 in Albertville, France where they placed fifth and in 1994 in Lillehammer, Norway where they finished fourth. Both had been coaching for more than 20 years.
