Alongside his formal medical education, Singh has undertaken continuing professional development in cardiovascular medicine, emergency care, anatomy and physiology, thrombosis management, research ethics, and patient centred healthcare. He holds certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), First Aid and Safety, and healthcare related disciplines. He also completed a Diploma in First Aid and Safety and earned a certificate in Understanding Dementia from the University of Tasmania, reflecting broader interests in healthcare education and patient care. As an academic author, Singh has published educational works in cardiovascular science, perfusion technology, pharmacology, and biomedical sciences. His major publications include CABG Surgery: Fundamentals of Perfusion and Bypass, Fundamentals of Pharmacology: 800 High Yield MCQs for B.Sc. Singh is a descendant of Kashmiri Pandit Royal House of Dar via Maharaja Virendra Mohan Dar of Dar (Akhnoor) (Through Judge and former Dewan of Mayurbhanj Justice Mohini Mohan Dhar Esq.) and House of Hatkhola and Manikganj of Bengal and Dhaka via Maharaja Manik Ram Basu (Through Peary Charan Sarkar and Princess Kailashkamini) Other notable ancestors include- Satyendra Mohan Dhar CIE ICS, Dhirendra Mohan Dhar, a barrister-at-law and professor of Mathematics, from King's College, London, Raja Mukund Mohan Dhar, Zamindar and barrister-at-law from LinonIn's Inn, Ava Dhar MBE OBE, Brajendranath De ICS, Sir Nripendra Nath Sircar KCSI and former Advocate General of Bengal.
