Biography

Dave Houma is known for New Zealand Idol (2004) and DNZ: The Real Middle Earth (2004). He was previously married to Natasha Pokere.

Has a daughter, Tamia aged 3 months (August 2006)

Both Dave and his cousin Sela Mahe made it to the Top 10 in the first season of New Zealand Idol (2004). Dave made it to the final 5 before being voted out.

Taught himself to sing at a young age singing duets with his mother and watching Ready to Roll, Solid Gold Radio With Pictures and listening to the radio. Is closely related to NZ Boyband Titanium Shaq Ngauma. Shaqs father Whiti Ngauma is first cousins to David.

David was in a Acapella group F.Y.V.E (Five Young Vocal Extremes) They opened up for RnB group "Shai" at the Power Station

They then changed their name to "Unison" and performed on several TV Shows. To name a few Showcase, Strictly Acapella, Mad Mad World of Television and Yahoo.
