Biography

I am a Bulgarian-born production designer based in Paris, working across feature films, short films, and international productions. My work includes The Dreamed Adventure (2026), directed by Valeska Grisebach, which was selected for the Official Competition of the Cannes Film Festival and awarded the Jury Prize, as well as Luka (2023), Light Thereafter (2017), Madame Luna.and The Barefoot Empereur

Throughout my career, I have developed long-term collaborations with directors, building strong creative relationships that allow visual worlds to evolve through trust, dialogue, and a shared artistic vision.

My educational journey began with studies in Philosophy at the University of Sofia. I later continued my education in France, studying architecture at the School of Architecture of Grenoble before pursuing Visual Arts at the Academy of Fine Arts, where I specialized in cinema. This multidisciplinary background continues to shape my approach to production design, combining conceptual thinking with a strong visual sensibility.

I am particularly interested in atmosphere, texture, and the emotional potential of space. Whether working on contemporary stories or more stylized narratives, I see production design as an integral part of storytelling, capable of revealing character, memory, and the unseen layers of a film.

My work has been presented at international film festivals and reflects an ongoing commitment to auteur-driven cinema and visually distinctive storytelling.
