Tyler Ronald Johnson was born on April 6, 1999, in Hackettstown, New Jersey, to Doug and Gerri Johnson. He is of Hungarian, Jewish, Irish, and Scottish descent.
Johnson attended Hackettstown High School, where he played football and competed in track and field. In 2020, he founded Pegasus, a street and lounge wear brand. He also has a background in theater, guitar, piano, and singing.
He later attended Penn State University, earning a bachelor's degree in kinesiology before pursuing acting professionally.
Johnson made his film debut in Andres Ilarraza's 'Scott's Insomnia' (2024). His recent and upcoming work includes Hulu's 'Betrayal' Season 3 as Detective Dakota Lyvers, the lead role in the feature film 'Tree Lights' opposite Laura Slade Wiggins, and a lead role in the thriller 'Buried Secrets' from Full Moon Features, set for release on Amazon Prime Video.
