Born and raised in Ho Chi Minh city, Vietnam, Hoang Anh first encounters piano at the age of 4.
For more than a decade, Hoang Anh became a songwriter, arranger, composer and music producer for top singers in the vietnamese music industry.
In 2017, The tailor (directed by Tran Buu Loc & Kay Nguyen, produced by Veronica Ngo) marked his debut in the film scoring path and encountered a big success within the vietnamese audience. Since then, Hoang Anh composed original film scoring for more than 26 movies with different genres ( comedy, drama, romantic, action, horror, fiction, etc). A majority of them were at the top box office in Vietnam. Furie (directed by Le Van Kiet, produced by Veronica Ngo) and Furies ( directed and produced by Veronica Ngo) were broadcasted worldwide on Netflix. Mai (produced and directed by Tran Thanh), met a huge success in Vietnam in 2024, premiered at the same time in the US, Canada and a few other countries in Europe, a first for a vietnamese movie.
