Mother Mother marks Ubah's cinematic debut, showcasing her versatility as an artist. An accomplished performer and voice artist, Ubah earned recognition for her powerful stage presence in the critically acclaimed My White Best Friend - North at the Liverpool Everyman Theatre in 2021. She also recently narrated some characters in the updated PRH Ladybird Keyword 2022 series, Peter and Jane, bringing fresh vitality to these beloved children's stories.
With a portfolio that includes voice work for the BBC and performances at notable venues such as the Donmar Warehouse and Kiln Theatre, Ubah is celebrated for her artistic range and depth. Mother Mother introduces her compelling presence to the screen for the first time.
Beyond the arts, Ubah is an active community advocate, dedicating her time to supporting homeless families and underrepresented communities. Her commitment to social impact is further reflected in her work as an Independent Social Worker, focusing on assessments and casework for marginalized groups.
An alumnus of the esteemed Identity School of Acting, Ubah seamlessly integrates her artistic talents with her advocacy, making her a distinctive and influential voice both in the arts and in the community. Ubah will soon be seen in new play marking UK black history month in London this October 2024.
