Archie Clark attended Wick High School from 1934 to 1940. He then went
on to study at the Edinburgh School of Architecture from 1940 to 1942,
however, from 1942 to 1947 he fought with the Seaforth Highlanders and
the Chindits 14th Army in Burma. Clark rejoined the Edinburgh School of
Architecture in 1947 and graduated in 1951. Prior to joining the BBC
Design Department in London in 1958, Clark worked as an Architect. He
retired from the BBC in 1979.
