Streaming Stars, Then and Now

Whit Anderson studied theater, music theater, and playwriting at Northwestern University, as well as script analysis and Shakespeare with world renowned coaches Larry Moss and Patsy Rodenburg, OBE, respectively. Following college, she moved to Los Angeles to focus fully on writing, during which time she assisted Tony Award winning composer Jason Robert Brown, Oscar nominated writer/director Gary Ross, and finally, comedy superstar Jim Carrey.

Since then, Anderson has been screenwriting full time, developing both original and adapted content for HBO, Showtime, NBC, Warner Brothers, Paramount, CBS, Stars, Netflix, and Sky UK.

Beat out over 20 other writers to craft the screenplay for the proposed <a class="ipc-md-link ipc-md-link--entity" href="/title/tt0103893/?ref_=nmtrv_trv">Buffy the Vampire Slayer (1992)</a> and <a class="ipc-md-link ipc-md-link--entity" href="/title/tt0118276/?ref_=nmtrv_trv">Buffy the Vampire Slayer (1997)</a> remake, but a change of guard at Warner Brothers ultimately shelved the project before she even completed her work.
