Child serial killer.

Also held responsible for the killing of Ruth Steinmann, a student who was sexually abused and then murdered in May 1980 in a forest near Würenlos (AG). After his arrest, Ferrari confessed to four of the five murders, but always denied killing Ruth Steinmann. In April 2007, the Baden District Court found Ferrari not guilty of Ruth's murder.

Between the 1970s and the late 1980s, Ferrari killed at least five children: three ten-year-olds, a nine-year-old, and a seven-year.
