Biography

Born and raised in Richmond, Virginia, Hilton is a two time Emmy-Nominated Director who always been passionate about the outdoors, conservation, and the American West. Telling unique stories about people's passion and contributions to the outdoors is what led Hilton to become a storyteller. Most known for his fly-fishing films and rich storytelling, Hilton has won multiple international film awards and participated in dozens of film festivals, having won the 2023 and 2024 International Fly Fishing Film Festival. Hilton grew up in outdoors as a bird hunter, fly fisherman, and conservationist. He cut his teeth in communications as a political operative for over a decade until he decided he wanted to spend more time telling stories about the things that he truly cares about. He lives in Richmond, Virginia with his wife Dawn, his daughter Betsy, and their two Labradors.
