  • "Suzy Knickerbocker" and "Suzy" were her 1960s pen names. She wrote a daily society column named "Suzy Says" for the New York Journal-American newspaper. Later, she wrote for "Women's Wear Daily" and "W" magazines.
  • Mother of Roger W. Mehle, Jr. On the What's My Line? episode of December 25, 1966, Roger was a mystery guest. His mother, who was known as Suzy Knickerbocker at the time, was a guest panelist on this episode. She did not guess his identity! When his name was revealed, she was so delighted to see him that she cried tears of joy.
  • Her son Roger was an Annapolis graduate and a naval officer. In fact, during the Christmas 1966 episode of "What's My Line?" he suprised his mother by acting as a mystery guest while she was on the panel.
