Aileen Mehle was born on June 21, 1918 in El Paso, Texas, USA. She was an actress, known for What's My Line? (1950), To Tell the Truth (1956) and The Annual National Conference of Christians and Jews Humanitarian Awards Dinner (1987). She was married to Roger W. Mehle Sr. and Mark Kenneth Frank Jr.. She died on November 11, 2016 in Manhattan, New York City, New York, USA.

"Suzy Knickerbocker" and "Suzy" were her 1960s pen names. She wrote a daily society column named "Suzy Says" for the New York Journal-American newspaper. Later, she wrote for "Women's Wear Daily" and "W" magazines.

Mother of Roger W. Mehle, Jr. On the What's My Line? episode of December 25, 1966, Roger was a mystery guest. His mother, who was known as Suzy Knickerbocker at the time, was a guest panelist on this episode. She did not guess his identity! When his name was revealed, she was so delighted to see him that she cried tears of joy.

Her son Roger was an Annapolis graduate and a naval officer. In fact, during the Christmas 1966 episode of "What's My Line?" he suprised his mother by acting as a mystery guest while she was on the panel.
