Biography

Vivek Zamana was born in Patna, India, where he was introduced to live theatre. He has directed and written for the stage, and has performed as a lead actor in theatre productions such as Samuel Beckett's Waiting for Godot and Gunda play, Panchhi aese aate hai, Kuchi ka kanoon, Paalki, Court Martial, and many more. He was cast in the web series Daduaa, Aarambh, and Gyaarah Gyaarah directed by Umesh Bist, and is known for the television series Gyaarah Gyaarah and Oh My Wife, as well as the short film Krishna & Ali, written and directed by Tracy Ann Chapel. His breakthrough role was in the Telefilms production of Welcome Jesus, playing a Catholic priest, Father. The inspirational role of the Father in Welcome Jesus earned Vivek Zamana a Best Actor award for his performance. Vivek is also known as Vivek Kumar Tiwari; he speaks Hindi, Puri, Bhojpuri, and English, and lives in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India.
