Heinz-Harald Frentzen was born on 18 May 1967 in Mönchengladbach, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany [ex-West Germany]. He has been married to Tanja Frentzen since October 1999. They have three children.
He started his Formula One career with the Sauber team in 1994 and went on to drive for them until the end of the 1996 Formula One season. His best result was finishing third at the 1995 Italian Grand Prix to get the first podium finish of his Formula One career.
