Melvin Endsley was born on January 30, 1934 in the USA. He died on August 16, 2004 in Drasco, Arkansas, USA.

Country singer and songwriter. Wrote "Singing the blues" and "Knee deep in the blues", among others, both country hits for Marty Robbins and pop hits for Guy Mitchell.

Polio left confined him to a wheelchair at age five.
