Biography

Denny is a SAG-AFTRA and AEA actor known for his grounded intensity and warm, assertive presence. A retired law enforcement officer and disabled combat veteran turned actor, he brings real-world grit to complex roles. He's often cast as hardened detectives, working-class men on the edge, and criminals at all levels of the hierarchy.

A first-generation American of Greek and Colombian descent, Denny began acting after helping his wife (an art teacher) raise two musicians. He quickly realized he needed a creative outlet!

You can see Denny bumping a cart into Emily Arancio and picking up a package for Miriam Silverman in the upcoming film Motherland, starring Holland Taylor and Nestor Carbonell, directed by Evan Matthews, and produced by Choice Films and the Moving Picture Institute. Its release date is scheduled for November 2025.

When not acting, Denny is volunteering with the Armonk Players, writing fantasy novels, hiking the Appalachian Trail from Georgia to Connecticut, and serving as a chaplain working to establish his own pet ministry.
