Deen J. Castronovo is an American drummer and singer, best known for being the former drummer for the band Journey and the current drummer for Revolution Saints and The Dead Daisies. Deen has also been a touring and studio member for Ozzy Osbourne, Steve Vai, Paul Rodgers, Geezer Butler (Black Sabbath bassist) and others. His first gig came at the age of 16 and his career has spanned four decades. He released an instructional video entitled "High Performance Drumming" in 1991, and has been involved with the Boys & Girls Club of Salem, OR.

Former Journey drummer and occasional lead vocalist (1998-2015).

Journey was awarded a Star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame for Recording at 6750 Hollywood Boulevard in Hollywood, California.

Previous band, Bad English, was nominated for Best New Group at the 1989 International Rock Awards.

Lists Journey&#39;s Steve Perry and Steve Smith among his biggest musical influences.
