Great-grand Nephew of Edward Hearn; Hollywood leading man in the silent era, started his acting career in 1915 and worked for over 40 years as an actor in over 350 motion pictures with Universal, Pathe and FBO. During the era of sound, he appeared in literally hundreds of minor or uncredited roles, often used as a stock player by the director Frank Capra.
