Biography

Ed Price grew up in Anaheim, California, the son of library lady Janet Price and Paul Price, the co-owner of Precise Grade (a grading subcontracting company). Ed graduated from the Southern California Christian School, and went to Fullerton College for two years, where he learned computer programminga nd computer animation. He left his volunteer job of two years as a youth leader at First Baptist Church of Anaheim and his paid job of three years at Disneyland to move up to Redmond, Washington, where he attended DigiPen Institute of Technology for three years. He spent one year in DigiPen's engineering department and then transferred into the computer animation department. (He was in the first class of both departments as they were moving to Washington from Canada.) When he moved up to Washington, Ed started attending Crossroads Bible Church (Bellevue, WA) where he has been a volunteer youth leader since 1998. He met his to-be-wife, Katie Gaudette, doing a book study on John Milton's "Paradise Lost" in 2002. They courted in late 2003 and "eloped with their immediate families" in January 2004. They have since relocated to Issaquah, Washington. Since Ed has been in Washington, he has worked at Nintendo (testing 3 games, uncredited), he has worked as a graphic designer and animator for Edmark Educational Software, he has worked at Enix on Dragon Warrior 7, he's worked for Jaleco testing games, he was the Production Manager at Moral Productions (directing several 3D animations), and he has been contracting his animation services to various companies through The Animation Empire.
