Attended The University of Findlay on a tennis scholarship where she was 2-time all-conference singles and one-time all-conference doubles.

Ancestor DNA testing revealed her heritage is 49% English/Irish but is also French, German, Scandinavian, Native American and Ashkenazi Jew.
