Giovanni De Chiara is an Italian Director and Cinematographer based in Milan, Italy. Renowned for his work in contemporary visual media, he has established a prominent presence within the European fashion and music video industries, specializing in both high-end digital formats and traditional analog cinematography, particularly Super 16mm.

Born and raised in Italy, De Chiara developed an early interest in the technical and artistic aspects of visual storytelling. He began his career by documenting local creative projects and sharing technical insights on digital platforms, which eventually led him to create educational content and filmmaking tutorials for an emerging community of young creators on YouTube.

De Chiara's professional breakthrough came through his collaborations with leading Italian production houses, most notably Oceancode and Pan Films.
