Biography

Tashera Simmons grew up in Yonkers, New York with her mother, father, and seven siblings. She first met her rapper husband at age 11. They began dating when she turned 18, he was also living in Yonkers at that time. Simmons is estranged and legally separated from her jailed husband Earl Simmons better known by his stage name of 'DMX'. She resides in Mt. Kisco, New York with their four children. Xavier,Tacoma, Sean, and Praise Mary Ella. She will be releasing what she refers to as, "A book on her side of the story, X's side of the story and their lives together". She does not like it to be referred to as a "tell-all" because she thinks that eludes to it snitching on intimate details of his life. Yet, she has said that it will be very detailed and everything will be included. Also to begin airing soon is her own MTV Reality Show.

She and her husband Earl 'DMX' Simmons, welcomed a baby girl named Praise Mary Ella Simmons on 18th April 2005. They also have a son called Shawn.

Has two other children with rapper DMX, Xaiver Simmons, and Tacoma Simmons.
