Ashlan Chidester is an American writer born in Missouri. His collected works include Fiction, Poetry, Software Engineering, and Conceptual Theory + Art. His early publications, primarily produced from the late 1990s through the 2010s, are archived online. His notable works include the fiction and poetry titles Slapping Krampus and Umbra Nosferatu. In 2022, he married Caroline Emma Chidester (née Cannon) in Vancouver, WA. He continues to live in the beautiful Pacific Northwest with his wife and dogs Winston (Alaskan Malamute) and Taro (Shiba Inu), retired into reclusivity and based in Anacortes, WA. Ashlan is the Creator of the conceptual framework known as Dupliter, first outlined in 1999, which has been referenced in archival and academic contexts.
