Award-winning French-American documentary filmmaker Laetitia Mikles' work includes: When Love Is All You Have (Que l'amour), winner of the Étoile de la SCAM Prize (2021), Jury Prize at FIFA Montreal, Best Film Prize at BAFF Brussels, Jury Prize at Cinema on the Bayou in Lafayette, and Jury Prize at Olhares do Mediterrâneo in Lisbon; Kijima Stories, winner of the Étoile de la SCAM Prize (2017), Best Film at Hendaye Film Festival, Audience Prize at Festival Docs en Court, Audience Prize at Women's Film Festival Créteil, and Special Mention at Treviso Film Festival; Nothing Vanishes (Rien ne s'efface), winner of the Discovery Prize (2009). She is also a film critic for the French magazines Positif and Blink Blank, a lecturer at NYU Paris and Sorbonne Nouvelle Paris (teaching the history of French documentary), a jury member for film festivals including SCAM Paris, BAFF Brussels, and É Tudo Verdade in Rio, and has been granted artist residencies at Yaddo (NY), Villa Bogliasco (Italy), and Villa Kujoyama (Japan).
