His musical, "Side Show", was performed at the Northlight Theatre in Chicago, Illinois with Kristen Behrendt, Susie McMonagle and Nikkieli DeMone in the cast. Jeffrey Lewis composed the original incidental music.

Score, his music with Tom Eyen's lyrics, for "Dreamgirls;" and in 1998,
for Best Score, his music with Bill Russell's lyrics, for "Side Show."
