- Rudy Cecera has written, produced and performed in every medium including film, TV and theater. He began writing jokes for various late-night talk shows. TV pilots include "Touch" and "Muse". He also wrote material and appeared in Denis Leary’s Comedy Central satire "Contest Searchlight". His film work includes Madcap Mabel and Mabel’s Dressing Room. Both were official selections at various film festivals and won him the Chaplin Award for Silent Film Culture.
He is also an entertainment journalist where he interviews actors, directors and filmmakers. His acclaimed "Women in Film" series for Screen Comment has allowed him to interview and promote many female directors and producers.
