Biography

Carmela Mary Karipis is a talented 10-year-old actor, model, and performer based in Sydney, Australia. She has already showcased her versatility and passion across a range of creative endeavours, including acting, voice-over, singing, musical theatre, and modelling.

Carmela's growing portfolio includes roles in feature films such as Robinhood (2024) and short films including The Effect (2024), directed by Aska Karem, Subjugator (2024), directed by Yad Jauher, and Little Matchstick Girl (2024), directed by Tegan Ware.

She has also appeared in music videos for international artists, including Ed Sheeran's Amazing, Stand Atlantic's Criminal, and Yolid Monica's Recall.

On television, Carmela starred in the Seven Network TV series 7Spotlight in the "Justice for Bronwyn" segment as Chrystal Winfield.

Her commercial appearances span globally recognised brands such as Woolworths, Obela Australia, The Athlete's Foot, as well as Zone Bowling and Timezone.

Carmela was part of DJ Jazzy's Day Dreamers crew, Rocket Crew 2023, and Hype Crew 2024, contributing her energy to performances such as Bring It On Festival 2023 - Pre-Show Entertainment and The Ultimate Kids Dance Party 2023.

She also attended the VIP Guest Red Carpet Movie Premiere for Trolls Band Together in 2023, with media publications by Universal Pictures Australia, the Australian Press Agency, and DJ Jazzy.
