Anders Nygaard(I)

Anders Nygaard is a highly experienced Danish casting director based in Copenhagen, working across local and international film and television productions. His international credits include the epic sci-fi series Foundation for Apple TV and the Netflix fantasy series Shadow and Bone. His English-language feature film work includes Tom Hooper's award-winning The Danish Girl and the BBC Films comedy Denmark, starring Rafe Spall. Locally, Anders has cast all three of the hugely popular Klovn comedy features (plus the spin-off TV series), the full Ant-Boy trilogy of family adventure films, and the first four seasons of the Scandi crime drama The Bridge, later adapted for English-language television. His recent work includes the TV 2/SF Studios drama series White Sands. Anders currently serves on the Executive Board of the International Casting Directors Association (ICDA).
