Biography

John Paul Goldassio is a bay area native born in San Leandro, California. His mother, Clara Marie Goldassio is of Portuguese, Canadian, Norwegian and Irish decent, and worked as a Home Daycare provider. His Father Paul Ray Goldassio, who is Italian and El Salvadorian, decent was an AutoCAD and Document Control Manager who was featured in magazines for innovation and design working for top fortune 500 companies.

John originally started out as an extra for movies like Semi Pro 2008, What Just Happened 2008, and Moneyball 2011 before having to take time off to recover from a work injury.

Having now completed many years of acting, and physical stunt training since recovering in 2018 he was cast in his first short film I don't remember David (2023) which he played the memories of David and was based on a true story and received praise from the casting Director for adding dimensions to the character that reminded him of his lost family member. Shortly after he was casted in Not a Criminal to play the officer which he did extensive research and worked with local law enforcement to betray a real life officer in the film and received recognition from his peers for this role. He also played both white and black hoodie protestors in the film.
