David L. Wadley is an award-winning author, filmmaker, and SEC-accredited investor whose work explores the intersection of artificial intelligence, technology, finance, politics, and social change through commercially driven storytelling.

Wadley is the creator of The AI Revolution: African American Trilogy, consisting of The AI Revolution Will Not Be Televised, Passport Bro, and Bulls, Bears, and Bad Bitches. The award-winning, adaptation-ready series explores the impact of artificial intelligence on government, financial markets, modern relationships, and everyday life through contemporary Black protagonists and high-stakes storytelling designed for feature films, limited series, and premium television.

The trilogy has received consecutive recognition in the Readers’ Favorite International Book Award Contest. The AI Revolution Will Not Be Televised was named a 2025 Readers’ Favorite Finalist, Fiction - Urban, followed by Bulls, Bears and Bad Bitches, which won the 2026 Readers’ Favorite International Book Award Bronze Medal - Fiction: Urban. Wadley received Readers’ Favorite recognition in the same category in back-to-back years with two different novels - an achievement Readers’ Favorite described as "exceedingly rare."

The film and television adaptation rights to Wadley's published intellectual property are represented by RAMO Law, an entertainment law firm with offices in Los Angeles and New York that represents filmmakers, producers, studios, production companies, and creators throughout the film and television industry.

In addition to the trilogy, Wadley is the author of AI Stocks Made Simple: A Beginner's Guide to AI Investing and Online Trading, which introduces readers to artificial intelligence investing and long-term wealth-building strategies, and the Afrofuturist political thriller Kamala 2028, a novel exploring AI-generated misinformation, elections, and democracy in the near future.

Before becoming an author, Wadley built an extensive career in Hollywood post-production. He worked for Warner Bros. Studios, Sony Pictures, MGM Studios, Panavision, and Technicolor, contributing to numerous feature films and television productions. He is a member of the Motion Picture Editors Guild (IATSE Local 700) and served as Supervising Sound Editor on Soul Plane, starring Kevin Hart, Mo'Nique, Sofía Vergara, and Snoop Dogg.

Wadley also wrote, produced, and directed the independent feature film Dark Angels (1998), widely recognized as the first faith-based urban crime drama and a pioneering work in the Hard Faith film genre. His filmmaking experience, combined with decades of work in production and post-production, informs the cinematic structure, pacing, and visual storytelling found throughout his novels.

Beyond entertainment, Wadley is the founder and president of The Price Bandit LLC, where he creates educational content focused on artificial intelligence, investing, and financial literacy. As an SEC-accredited investor, he brings real-world knowledge of emerging technologies and financial markets to his fiction, particularly in stories that explore wealth creation, market disruption, and the societal impact of AI.

Throughout his career, Wadley has combined creative storytelling with practical experience across entertainment, finance, and public service. His work examines how technological change affects institutions, communities, and individual lives while centering diverse voices rarely seen in mainstream speculative fiction.

Today, Wadley's primary creative focus is expanding The AI Revolution: African American Trilogy into film and television while continuing to develop commercially compelling stories that speak to the challenges and opportunities of the AI era.
