Inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as a member of The Shirelles in 1996.

When "Will You Still Love Me Tommorrow" hit #1 on the pop charts in 1960, The Shirelles became the first female group to accomplish that feat.

Was part of the female group The Shirelles, which was comprised of high school friends Doris Kenner-Jackson, Shirley Alston and Micki Harris, and who were considered to be the first major female vocal group of the rock era.

The Shirelles were voted the 76th Greatest Rock 'n' Roll Artists of all time by Rolling Stone.

She and the Shirelles were inducted into the 2014 New Jersey Hall of Fame in the Arts and Entertainment Category.
