Tom Walker is a neurodiverse actor with a growing screen résumé and a natural ability to deliver authentic performances, particularly in character-driven narratives. He has portrayed roles requiring emotional depth, sensitivity, and authenticity across a wide range of genres, including family drama, horror, coming-of-age stories, fantasy, and inclusive storytelling.
Tom played Levi in the short film Searching for Daisies, a heartfelt story exploring an unexpected friendship between a home schooled boy and a foster child. Written and directed by Lily Boisvert (No Vacancy, Black Snow, The Good, the Bad, and the Library), the film won Best Screenplay (EMERGE category) at the 2024 Gold Coast Film Festival.
His dramatic debut was playing the role of River in Tent, a proof of concept for the fantasy short Before We Sleep, written and directed by Josh Lacy (Last King of the Cross, Troppo, Street). Tom’s performance was noted for its emotional clarity and restraint, grounding the film’s high-concept premise in genuine human connection. Before We Sleep was nominated for Best Short Film at the 2025 AACTA Awards.
Additional credits include Levi in Blue Harvest, Young Lachlan in the short film Forever (scheduled for the 2026 festival circuit), Jack in the upcoming family web series The Joy Jar, and Pineapple Boy in the Queensland-based Paramount+ original series Two Years Later, an eight-part romantic dramedy currently filming in Brisbane for Paramount+, created by Brisbane-based screenwriter Pete Bridges and produced by the Emmy® and BAFTA-winning company Hoodlum Entertainment.
