Streaming Stars, Then and Now

Joshua Funk is a multi-talented artist based in Los Angeles. He is an Emmy-nominated composer, actor, and director. He is widely recognized for his work as a Second City alumni where he won multiple Joseph Jefferson Awards for directing in Chicago.

In the television industry, Joshua has had a successful career as an improv director and actor. He worked for the first five seasons of MTV's "Wild n' Out" and has appeared in numerous films and TV shows, including "Air," "Kong: Skull Island," "The Informant!", "Detroiters," "Key & Peele," "I Love You America," "Reno 911", and many more. Joshua has also been a director and actor for Jim Belushi and The Board of Comedy for over a decade. They have performed live comedy shows around the world. Recently, Joshua directed and produced the third season of Discovery's "Growing Belushi."

As a composer for television, Joshua started his career on Comedy Central's "Key & Peele," where he earned an Emmy nomination for the musical parody, "Les Mis." He then moved into the world of animation at Warner Brothers, composing music for "Wabbit," "New Looney Tunes," and "Scooby Doo." He has worked with artists like Snoop Dogg, Axl Rose, and Weird Al Yankovich.

Joshua is married to actress Nyima Funk, and they have two children, Ziza and Moze.

mates from The Secon City Detroit.

Joshua Funk created and was lead singer/guitarist in a band called Park: A Rock Band.

He was a cast member of Second City Detroit. He then became an award-winning director at the Second City Chicago. He won the Joseph Jefferson Award for Best Director for the revue: Holy War, Batman and Best Show for the revue: Pants on Fire.

Improv Coach for the MTV show: Wild&#39;n Out With Nick Cannon. His job was to coach the red and black teams, and teach the celebrity talent to improvise. He was a performer on 11 of the shows.

He was awarded the 2002 Joseph Jefferson Award for Director of a Revue for &quot;Holy War, Batman! or the The Yellow Cab of Courage&quot; at the Second City Theatre in Chicago, Illinois.

He was nominated for a 2003 Joseph Jefferson Award for Director of a Revue for &quot;Pants on Fire&quot; at the Second City Theatre in Chicago, Illinois.
