- Susan Petrone was born on June 26, 1931. She was an actress, known for The Bob Cummings Show (1961), Gunsmoke (1955) and Dr. Kildare (1961). She died on August 26, 1963 in San Luis Obispo, California, USA.
- Petrone was killed after slipping on loose rocks and falling 400 feet off of an ocean cliff just north of San Simeon. Funeral services were held in Hollywood and burial was in Calvary Cemetery in Los Angeles.
- Petrone was sightseeing with actor Gerald Trump at the time of her fatal accident. When the rocks beneath Petrone gave way, Trump tried to grab her but to no avail.
- Petrone grew up in Lawrenceville, New Jersey. In 1954, she graduated with a B.A. in Drama and Literature from Bennington College in Vermont. In the early 1960's, her television career began to show promise, and her parents relocated to Los Angeles.
