In February 2015's edition of Hot Press, A journalist for the magazine leaked a story about Marcus's desire to sue the inventor of basmati rice. Claiming he could not understand how egg fried rice could ever be overlooked. He never followed through with the lawsuit as a counter-party could never be located to defend against the claims.
