Yvonne F. Feresu is a Screenwriter and Production Designer, born and raised in Zimbabwe. She is a Multichoice Talent Factory (class of 2022) alumna, with A Quiet Intruder the first script she ever pitched and wrote, although not the first story she ever wrote. During this transformative experience, Yvonne not only honed her talents but emerged as one of the standout students, securing a coveted Bollywood internship. She holds an undergraduate degree in Psychology (2017), which infuses her stories with a profound human element. Yvonne aspires to write beautiful stories, funny stories, gut-wrenching stories, stories infused with her rich Zimbabwean culture and stories that transcend boundaries, but most importantly, stories that illuminate the shared human experience.

Yvonne ran a personal blog for several years (because writing is naturally what she loves to do) and won Best Personal Blog for the year 2020 with Zim Blog Awards.

At one point in her life, Yvonne aspired to be a fashion designer and formed a brand with a partner. Together as a design duo they were accepted into both Zimbabwe Fashion Weekend and Fashion Week Zimbabwe (Young Designers) in 2013, but later chose different career routes.
