Dr. Stephenson was awarded the CBE (Commander of the Order of the British Empire) before being awarded the Dame Commander of the Order of the British Empire in the 2024 King's Birthday Honours List for her services to Charity and to Regulatoin. She is a Chief Executive Officer, Charity Commission for England and Wales in London, England.
