- He was lured away from the medical field by his fascination with movie making. In 2000 he opened Farrland Films Production and joined Screen Actor's Guild. Since then he has produced ,directed and acted in numerous movies such as "Devil's Highway", "Blood Ranch," "The Moment After 2", "Taken By Force", "Joshua Tree", "Charlie Valentine" and "The Cloth"

He won several international karate marshal arts titles and wrote two books on the psychology of judo and karate and numerous articles about women's self-defense.
