Anson K.H. Yip
- Producer
- Writer
- Director
Anson K. H. Yip completed his master's in Physics at the University of Oxford and swiftly fled to filmmaking. Having written a few short films, he joined the Screenwriting Certificate course at the National Film and Television School (NFTS), then started working as a producer at Fools On The Hill Collective.
Born in Hong Kong and grew up in the UK, he is most influenced by Wong Kar-wai, Stephen Chow, Studio Ghibli, and TVB's prime-time shows. He is also obsessed with Xavier Dolan and James Cameron.
His work favours the endearingly unhinged, stories of the misunderstood, and (before this gets too self-indulgent) a cathartic cry.
