Daniels' career began as an office production assistant and post-production assistant for Fox Searchlight. That same year, he was selected as one of the first filmmakers to join Fox Searchlab, which included a first-look deal with Fox Searchlight.
Daniels won top honor at the 53rd Nashville Film Festival for Best Horror Feature in the screenplay competition, a nomination for Best Director at ATL Experimental Fest and Best Horror Film at the Pasadena International Film Festival, respectively.
He resides in the SF Bay Area with ties to Los Angeles.
