Biography

Amann Iqbal is an American-Pakistani actress based in Washington, D.C., a local talent featured in films out of NYC and Richmond. She's charming enough to be your neighborhood hero swinging through the neighborhood, shamelessly herself rocking the letter "A" in red in every outfit,and enticingly empathetic and vulnerable, a true wallflower when you look into her eyes.

Her work spans the stage, with roles like Maureen Johnson in RENT, Wadsworth in Clue On Stage, and multiple improv teams, to on screen features including Paramount's remake of Mean Girls: The Musical, now streaming on Amazon Prime Video.

When she's not performing, Amann loves long walks through random neighborhoods and cities smiling with her headphones on people watching, soaking in reflections, or baking complicated desserts..like apple pie, because getting the crust just right is an art, she swears.

She recently earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Performing Arts from Virginia Commonwealth University. Through her work, she hopes to keep people thinking, exploring, and feeling (empathy + curiosity) offering a lens of courageous vulnerability while keeping nostalgia infinite and shared.
