Biography

Anish Chandak is an actor, director, and former professional dancer. He is known for his leading performances in award-winning short films that have been distributed on Omeleto and programmed at top genre festivals across the world. His television debut was as a guest star on the hit NBC medical drama "New Amsterdam" and his feature film debut "Designed By Preeti" premiered at the 2025 Dances With Films festival. Next up, he will be seen in the cult-horror feature "Pandemic Sex Party" from veteran producer Andy Gould ("House of 1000 Corpses", "The Devil's Rejects") and the indie horror feature "Skate Meat" directed by Dawn Carol Garcia.

Anish is a Sony Pictures Television Elevate Actors Fellow and a UCB Diversity Scholar. He was a cast member of the Off-Broadway sketch comedy show "Fresh Out of the Box" and has performed in regional theatre productions in New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, and Minneapolis. Anish started his creative journey as a professional Bollywood and Hip Hop dancer, placing at national and international competitions, including World of Dance.

Prior to acting, Anish held management roles at Universal Pictures and Spotify. He is originally from St. Paul, Minnesota.
