Biography

Chad Patterson Stanton is an American actor and filmmaker whose career is grounded in more than two decades of real-world law enforcement experience. A veteran police officer and experienced medicolegal death investigator, Stanton brings an authentic, lived-in presence to roles ranging from law enforcement and authority figures to darker, unconventional characters.

His recent credits include Prayer 2, The 5th of July, Last Crossing, I’m Not Ready, JK-LOL, The Hot Seat, and Work Order, along with earlier appearances in Blood Murder Rampage, Predatory Palm, and Take the Shot. His work has earned recognition on the independent film festival circuit, including a Best Supporting Actor award at the Hotel Horror Film Festival.

Stanton has also worked on major studio productions, including as a ( special forces soldier) background performer in Superman (2025) and Hallmark productions. His experience ranges from principal and supporting roles in independent films to background work on large-scale professional sets. Behind the camera, he has also contributed through location work, special effects, craft services, and production support.

With a background that also includes public speaking, live hosting, instruction, and emergency response, Stanton continues to build a diverse body of work across independent film, horror, drama, and major studio productions.
