Heather McDonald is a first-generation Asian-American woman who graduated from SUNY Purchase College where she studied Screenwriting and Playwriting. McDonald has also been accepted into a variety of screenwriting competitions including being in the top 15% of all scripts in Academy Nicholls 2023 script competition. She is also apart of UCLA's 2023 Professional Program in Screenwriting.
