Samuel J. Gleason was born in Tucson, Arizona, with the majority of his upbringing divided between Clark County, Nevada, and Sonoma County, California. He became an active member of the theatre community in the latter, taking part in productions like A Little Night Music (as Henrik Egerman), Tuck Everlasting (as Miles Tuck), The Wedding Singer (as Sammy), The SpongeBob Musical (as SpongeBob), Head Over Heels (as Musidorus), and the list goes on. He's also acted in various indie films like Bounty, The Process, Used To Be Us, The Diner, and Anti-Valentine.
Outside of acting, Gleason has worked as an AV Technician, graphic designer, video editor, and music producer - recording and mixing his own cover songs and publishing them to streaming platforms like Spotify and Apple Music.
